Events

At The Minds it’s always Rock ‘n’ Roll All Night, and Party Everyday, but some days the party thickens.

On what we prefer to call ‘The Day You Knew Would Come’ (after the 2013 Coronation Song) and not Kingsday, the city’s in turmoil and loud (mostly dance-) music terrorises town. At The Minds it’s all raucous all the time, but (hu)man-made. It starts the night before and lasts into the wee hours of the day itself: a rowdy array of loud bands rock themselves through their rough repertoires. Not to celebrate the monarchy, but just because they can.

And as if December isn’t festive enough, The Minds heightens the joy with the legendary, yearly and traditional December Drink-on Days. On two saturdays in the holiday season The Minds stays open even longer than usual, until 6, so we can cry even more salty tears into even more well-tapped beers.
